Zip World has been responsible for attracting thousands of thrill-seekers to North Wales with their innovative ideas. The latest addition to their adventures is due to open at Easter. It’s a high-speed toboggan run but not on snow. You’ll travel 1 kilometre on rails through forestry, flying through the trees at speed you won’t believe! It’s a bit like a roller coaster only much, much better!

Of all things to do in North Wales, if you want to test how mentally and physically resilient you are, this event will be for you! There is no other event like it in Britain.
You’ll be put through your paces with multiple daily, individual and team challenges. Based on European military training events, it is conducted in the Snowdonia National Park. Over a 3 day period from 28 June 2019, you will cover 100kilometres. You don’t have to participate in the full three days. There are options for shorter events.
15% of the proceeds will go to a community and charitable cause, so get involved!

St David’s Day is celebrated every year on 1st March.

A hit with both children and adults alike, Manorafon Farm Park is a great day out for all the family. Not only can you see a wonderful array of farm animals you can also learn how to look after them with hands-on experience. Check out the ostriches, chickens, ducks and the donkeys, pigs, rabbits and pigs. Be prepared to take a rabbit home with you as your children are likely to want you to buy a bundle of cuteness. If you are lucky you might also see sheepdog puppies!
This is a working, educational farm where anyone with an interest in farming can learn a great deal.

Tir Prince Raceway has everything under control in terms of entertaining parents and kids. With a huge amusement arcade and funfair, the children will be worn out by the end of the day. Lots of horse races to bet on if you feel like a gamble including harness and trap racing. The biggest market and car boot sale are open throughout the weekends so if you are so inclined, you can shop till you drop!
A marvellous fun day out for all the family, the Adventure Trail takes you through a series of over forty challenges. All are found in stunning woodland areas and include a maze, wall climbing, swings, balance beams and even a spider’s web among many other challenges.
