Things to do from your Static Caravan this Spring Bank Holiday

This weekend as you look forward to an extended break in your Static Caravan at Whitehouse Leisure Park, and around the Colwyn Bay area of the beautiful countryside in North Wales, there is a multitude of events and activities to keep you and the family busy and occupied. Be it a woodland walk or food and craft shopping, we can suggest a day out for everyone.

23 – 27 May visit Conwy Harbour for the Celtic Spring Fayre with gift, food and craft stalls; something for everyone, locals and visitors alike.

2 May – 5 July The Slate Sea at MOSTYN, Llandudno is worthy of a visit, where you can see results of a visit to the villages and valleys of Snowdonia, and the slate towns of North Wales, by a photographer, six Welsh poets and a film-maker.

23 May – Llandudno Air Show is not to be missed; take in the spectacle in the skies from your viewpoint on the promenade and see the aerobatics and air displays.

23 May – A Seaside Guided Walk, Conwy
Begin your guided walk at Lancaster Square, follow the route along the historic High Street, and finish at the YHA Conwy, after rounding the edge of Bodlondels Wood.

27 May – Tree Identification
Take a late spring woodland walk at Pwllycrochan and let the student wardens teach you the basics of how to identify different tree species.

29 May – Deganwy Dash
For the more active holidaymakers, take part in a 5 mile run on the coastal path commencing at Deganwy Beach, (Sustrans Path No 5), run to Conwy Castle then retrace your steps and run back to the field next to the beach where you started.

30 May – Open Garden Day at Hafodunos Hall, Llangernyw near Abergele
See the ongoing restoration work of Grade 1 Listed Hafodunos Hall set in a beautiful 50 acre estate of gardens and woodland. See the ducks and resident peacock, stroll the gardens and enter the competition to design a flowerbed.

Onsite facilities and activities
Maybe you prefer to spend your long weekend break relaxing at your Static Caravan Park, where there are plenty of facilities and activities onsite to keep the family happy, with no need to leave the Park unless you want to.

In addition to the children’s play park, we have a snooker room, amusement arcade and a restaurant.
