A Summer Break in your Static Caravan

Easter holidays are now a memory and you’ll doubtless be looking forward to an extended Summer Break in your Static Caravan at Whitehouse Leisure Park. Whether you’ll be taking some long weekend breaks or a two week holiday, you will need to make plans and preparations for your stay.

Hopefully, according to the long-range weather forecasters, we are in for a lovely hot summer, but as a regular caravan user, you know always to be prepared for a few rainy days to be spent in your caravan too.

Beaches and off park activities

Caravan owners at Whitehouse Leisure Park enjoy direct access to the beach and the beaches nearby at Abergele and Pensarn are within easy reach of the park, with further lovely beaches at Rhyl, Prestatyn, Colwyn Bay and Llandudno accessible either by car or train from Abergele and Pensarn stations.

For the more active visitors, there are plenty of local walks around the park and the town, with fantastic views from Cefyn-yr-Ogaf , Castell Cawr and Tower Hill.

We have two local Golf Courses, Abergele and Silver Birch Golf Clubs, the latter being a popular “Pay and Play” course where you do not need to be a regular member.

There is plenty on offer to occupy the younger generation; a visit to Pensam Pleasure Beach is a must and don’t forget to take plenty of loose change for the slot machines in the Fun Factory and the Black Cat Arcade Centre.  Older children, and parents too, will enjoy the adventure of the go-carts at Tir Prince trackway and whilst there, pop to the local market to pick up some bargains.

For those that wish to venture further from the park, Rhyl offers a Sea Aquarium and a large indoor swimming pool; The Sun Centre is great for keeping the kids occupied on a rainy grey day.

Take time out from cooking during your holiday, (BBQs are the exception and a must while at your caravan) and visit the local cafes, bars and restaurants.

Onsite activities and facilities

In addition to an amusement arcade, snooker room, play park for children, a shop, free WiFi and restaurant, Whitehouse Leisure Park provides enough entertainment to keep the whole family content over the summer including:

  • Kids’ Club
  • Fitness and Creative Classes
  • Bingo
  • Gameshows
  • Challenges
  • Party Dances
  • Cabaret

So you don’t need to leave the park if you don’t want to!

Don’t forget to take time out to relax in your garden or on the decking, and enjoy the long hot lazy days of summer that will soon be with us.  And just chilling in your Static Caravan at Whitehouse Leisure Park may be all the break you need.
