Spooky events in North Wales this Halloween season

Hello, ghouls and goblins! October is looming ahead with fun activities for little both older and younger adventure seekers and we’re here to help you decide which to mark your diary with. Maybe you’re on a staycation in one of the gorgeous caravan holiday parks in North Wales for Halloween this year – the perfect place for those seeking sweets to go door to door safely without going too far. For some other ideas, though, we have scoured the creepy pages online to find these alternatives.

Spookwood

This Halloween season on weekends from 8 October to 31 October then weekdays until 6 November Greenwood Family Park will have Spookwood which is a family friendly experience with a scare maze, circus of screams, fear island and pumpkin patch. Wear your best fancy dress and come out for a night of fun and rides at Greenwood Family Park in Gwynedd.

Welsh Mountain Zoo Fright Week

The Welsh Mountain Zoo will continue its Halloween tradition of spooky events with its Fright Week this year from 29th October – 6th November so come out to enjoy plenty of ghoulish activities. On offer will be creepy crafts, spooky stories, pumpkin hunt trail, and pumpkin carving competition. Carve your best pumpkin (at home) and bring it along to the zoo for judging on 4th November.

Pili Palas

In Anglesey, Pili Palas Nature World will be having daily creepy encounters with some of the more devilish critters at the zoo as well as a fancy dress competition on their social media pages to win annual passes to Pili Palas. Pick up a pumpkin carving set for a few quid and take it back to your caravan for a few hours of enchanting time with your little goblins. All children in full fancy dress will receive a sweets goody bag on entry too! Halloween events run from 22nd October to 6th November from 10am to 5:30pm.

Folly Farm Spooky Halloween

Bring your little monkeys to Folly Farm in their best fancy dress and get a sweet treats bag. Also go out into the Scarecrow Trail to win fun prizes, find the singing pumpkins or take part in a card hunt. A fun addition to the day at Folly Farm, where fairground and zoo collide for the perfect time for kids. Spooky Halloween will run from 29th October to 6th November.

Of course, keep an eye out for the spooktacular festivities from your friends at Whitehouse Leisure Park and Seldon’s Golden Gate as well. Have a safe and fun Halloween.
