It’s going to be a great Bank Holiday in North Wales with plenty of things to do and see. If you are on holiday or taking a short break this weekend at Whitehouse Leisure Park here are some interesting and entertaining events and activities that you can enjoy with all the family:
29th to 31st August – Beaumaris Medieval Festival, Anglesey
Beaumaris Castle will come alive this weekend as it does each year with all things Medieval. You’ll be entertained by jesters, see puppet shows, watch the expertise of falconers, be able to participate in archery and enjoy a battle between the knights of Medieval times. There will be lots of Medieval crafts being displayed most of which you can participate in.
Whilst you are in Anglesey you might want to arrange a High-speed Rib Ride in the Menai Strait. This is an exhilarating, exciting ride through white water, whirlpools and reefs where you will spend an hour on high adrenalin. On the trip, you will pass Millionaires’ Row with its expensive houses, old bridges and historic homes. It’s a thrilling experience for all the family expect children under 4 years old who are not permitted.

29th August 2015 – The Denbigh Show
With events taking place throughout the day in Denbigh there is something going on for everyone, both children and adults. Watch beer barrels being rolled, a creepy crawly show (not for the squeamish as spiders will be present) Punch & Judy show, Children’s Treasure Trail and the Xtreme team performing the most daring stunts.
